Floor Pads
At M & J, we carry the full 3M line of floor pads as well as similar Prime Source products.
Floor pads are color coded by level of
abrasiveness. The colors, for the most part, are standard across the
industry.
The darkest colors are the most abrasive - your
stripping pads - going up to the lightest colors - your buffers.
We also carry a range of sizes for your floor
machine. Check your machine manufacturer's instructions for proper
sizing of pads.
Here's a handy guide to floor pad selection:
BLACK - the most aggressive out there - Heavy Duty Stripping
Brown - Heavy Stripping
Emerald Green
- Heavy Stripping with open webbing
Dark Blue - Stripping at 170-365 RPM
Green - Wet, Heavy Duty Scrubbing
Blue - Wet, Medium
Duty Scrubbing
Aqua Blue - Light Burnishing on machines 1000 -
3000+ RPM
Light Blue - Frequent Burnishing
Tan - Medium
Duty Burnishing - - - These are often available with natural blends of

Doodlebugs
We also carry Doodlebugs. "What the heck is a doodlebug?" you say?
A Doodlebug is a floor care product by 3m with a pivoting head
for removing stripper, wax build up, etc in hard to reach places, like
corners, stairs, and around stoves and fryers in
commercial kitchens. It's brown heavy-duty pads scrub away the worst
build up!
And yes, we also carry floor squeegees to get your
floor SQUEAKY clean!
